Ron Madore, born in Queens New York on January 9th, had been a Connecticut native for most of his life, now currently resides in South Carolina. He began singing at the age of 5 years old. Many days were spent listening to the music of the 70’s and 80’s giving him the inspiration he needed to begin a music career. Ron joined several school bands, such as “Satyr” which performed at several school functions and garage parties. Also a member of the school choir. Time permiting, he would concentrate on writing lyrics for songs that flooded his mind.
At the age of 16, Ron began playing the piano and synthesizers and attended school for music theory to strengthen his music writing skills. Self-taught on the piano, he began writing material, reflecting the classic rock era, the music he loved.
After leaving school, he continued to perform with several bands, mainly as lead singer and song writer, doing covers and originals at local clubs. He joined a band called, “Tommy’s Path” and performed as lead singer doing clubs and outdoor festivals for about a year. Ron left the band when his son Kyle was born.
During this growth in music, Ron, Walter Heinz and Tommy Dow formed a recording group called “Simplicity” in which they dedicated themselves to four songs. Those four songs, which remained on the shelf for awhile are now on the Debut CD “Time Stands Still". Simplicity was a spur of the moment band and became the doorway to many ideas for Ron.
In the summer of 2000 Ron focused on his home recording studio, writing & recording new songs. Once he completed the foundation of seven new songs, Ron, Walt, and Tommy reunited with the help of Guitarist Jay Jeddry, & back-up vocalists Kalie Dowd and Patti Donovan to form the band: Ron Madore.
On January 2, 2001 their debut Cd Time Stands Still was released. Beginning on January 12, 2001, the track, “Edge Of Your Heart” received air play on a Connecticut local radio station.
Ron is now in the beginning stages of creating new material for their next album which promises to be more upbeat with some blues, country, alternative mixes and of course a couple of ballads.
